Glass offers colors, depth, translucence and fluidity that speak to me and help me speak to others. I have worked with glass since 2001 creating pieces with a balanced asymmetry that are meant to capture both the eye and the heart. Using stained glass or fused glass techniques, I seek to compose pieces that invite to the viewer to eternally look deeper into each free-form, unrepeatable creation. Since moving to Western North Carolina in 2018, the mountains have provided unsurpassed inspiration, shaping my work to capture mountainous views in glass and metal. These new pieces add an additional facet to my portfolio of distinctively designed crosses of glass and gemstones along with other organic artisan works.
