I am Donna Brown Clark, a new resin and glass artist, but a lifelong crafter. After retiring from a thirty-year career in local government finance, I began searching for a way to elevate my craft to a piece of art. My research led me to resin and glass works, and I was immediately captivated. I have spent over a year with expert artists who teach as well as own successful businesses in the field of resin and glass art.

Inspiration comes from these mountains I call home, the people who live here, my faith, and my favorite place to visit, the coast of North Carolina. But no matter the theme, my art simply brings me joy! Starting with an original, smart, on-trend design and a quality surface; adding select paints, stains, resin, glass, inks, and other embellishments then, layer by layer, creating something beautiful; to me, that’s art!

I am a proud Western Carolina University alumnus, and my favorite color is purple – go Cats! My husband and I live on our farm in Clyde and my happy place is on the deck surrounded by the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains underneath the Carolina blue sky.
