Gayle Haynie is a transplant from Michigan who moved to the south in 1999. She has worked with glass since 1990 and has extended her education by taking classes from some of the best-known names in the industry. Along with working with stained glass, fused glass, mosaics in tile and glass, she offers “one-on-one” or “group classes” in her North Carolina studio. Her work can also be seen at Cedar Hill Studios, The Jewelers Work Bench, The Haywood County Arts Council, The Shelton House Gift Shop, all in Waynesville along with Stecoah Valley Gallery, Robbinsville, NC, Sweetgrass Artisan and Mercantile in Bakersville, NC, and New Morning Gallery, Asheville, NC. Most of her work is custom work and she welcomes the challenge of designing personal art.
