Gayle Haynie

Gayle grew up in Michigan, but moved to the South in 1999, splitting her time between Florida and Georgia, before relocating to Western North Carolina in 2012.

Gayle has always been involved in the arts, but when she discovered glass in 1990 a whole new world opened up for her.

A world of color and light!

She started with stained glass panels, but soon expanded her explorations to include fused glass and hand painting on glass with glass enamels, often combining all techniques in her artistic statements.

Gayle works in series, executes one-of-a-kind designs, and welcomes custom orders, enjoying the challenge of creating personalized art for individuals.

She works in a beautiful, light-filled studio in Waynesville and offers classes or studio visits by appointment.

A wide variety of work is available in her home gallery.
