Come one, come all and have a ‘hoot’ of a time at the Haywood County Arts Council Appalachian Dance Hootenanny from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Folkmoot Friendship Center in Waynesville.

Join the Haywood Ramblers on stage for a community jam with flat foot lessons by Tyler Hughes and the Green Grass Cloggers.

“Celebrate the spring, the last day of spring break and the end of tax season at the Appalachian Dance Hootenanny with live performances, dance instruction, free crafts, and good food and drink sponsored by Bosu’s and the Garden food truck,” said Morgan Beryl, HCAC’s Executive Director. “This is truly a family-friendly event with free childcare, spoon instrument making and a professional photo opportunity for only $25. We intentionally kept the ticket price as low as possible to encourage people of all walks of life to join us.”

Tickets are on sale at www.haywoodarts.org or at the door. Discounts are available for veterans, who should contact Morgan Beryl at 828-452-0593 or director@haywoodarts.org.
