How it Works: All campers who are registered for a full day of camp will have the opportunity to learn three different art forms. Camp starts with Music Mornings, where students can pick from guitar, banjo or fiddle. Rental instruments are available. If desired, campers can register just for music mornings. After lunch and play time will be Art Afternoons, where students can choose two different classes out of three options: Poetry, Visual Arts, or Dance. Alternatively, if your camper is above the age of 12 and is at least an intermediate level musician, they may continue in the music intensive for the afternoon. If desired, campers can just register for Art Afternoons.
Accessibility: Our instructors will be exposed to accessibility communication and education tips and HCAC will strive to provide reasonable accommodations for campers who are differently abled as best we can. If your child is in need of reasonable accommodations, please contact Morgan (director@haywoodarts.org) to discuss how HCAC can support you and your child.
