For those who missed the Haywood County Studio Art Tour on Saturday, there’s still time to take the event in Sunday, Sept. 25, from noon to 4 p.m.

There are two dozen working art studios and galleries on the self-guided tour, giving tour goers a chance to meet the artists, see demonstrations and buy art.

Sorrels Street Park in Canton is serving as the hub for the event. It’s where tour goers can get a map of the studio locations and browse a marketplace of artists. In addition to artist booths, Sorrells Street Park has live music, food trucks and make-and-take art projects for kids. You can even grab a paint brush and add your own touch to banners commemorating the 100th anniversary of the the Pisgah/Tuscola football rivalry that will be used for this year’s rivalry game on Oct. 14.

The studio tour is hosted by the Haywood County Arts Council.
