I call the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina my forever home.
I am originally from Western New York via many years in south Florida.
I am inspired by color, textures, nature, facial expressions of human and animal muses.
My favorite mediums are clay and mixed media paintings.
Clay is an amazing medium to create in. To take a ball of clay and transform it into a vase or a sculpture will always intrigue me.
The possibilities are endless.
I really enjoy working with several artistic materials when I am painting whether the subject matter is a portrait, figurative or a landscape.
I simply love when a painting comes together effortlessly, almost like it is guiding me through the process of its creation
Over the years I have taught clay and painting classes and workshops to adults and children
