Love the Arts

Heart with text Love the Arts Main Street

Letter from the Director:

Please help us celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Haywood County Arts Council!

The biggest news is that we’re moving out of the second floor of our building and renovating the ground level to be both gallery and office. This process is in full swing and would not be possible without Camilla Webber McConnell, a very generous donor who through planned giving, is providing the seed money to renovate and will be the namesake of our new offices. We are looking forward to unveiling our new look and feel at our grand reopening on May 6, 2022. We hope you’ll join us!

Our greatest challenge is creating a sustainable funding source to help us remain in our desirable Main Street location. Real-estate prices continue to rise and renting on Main Street in downtown Waynesville has not escaped that trend. We see this as an opportunity to create a way of honoring those of you who have given and continue to give to HCAC over its four-decade history.

The Love the Arts Main Street Campaign has a goal of $100,000 and asks for five-year pledges to help sustain us annually for the next five years. Different levels of giving and naming opportunities available through the campaign. Please take the leap and make a  pledge so we can continue to bring the love of the arts to our entire community.

With Gratitude,

Morgan Beryl, Executive Director
