Food & Beverage

VIP Ticket Holders can enjoy complimentary beer, water, and snacks throughout the show.

Guests will have the ability to purchase additional beer, wine, and water at the concession stand.  Food trucks will be on site with food and other refreshments.

No outside food or beverages will be permitted!

Will There Be More Shows/Programming Announced?

Currently, three bands are scheduled to perform: 

  • Balsam Ridge
  • Kruger Brothers
  • Unspoken Tradition


Casual.  This event is outdoors and is rain or shine.  Please dress for forecasted weather.  This is a grassy open area with mountain views and dress shoes are strongly discouraged.


The M.V. Festival Grounds is outdoors and the Smoky Mountains Bluegrass Festival will happen rain or shine.  Please be prepared for forecasted weather.  Should major weather (i.e. hurricane) arise, all ticket holders will be contacted via email.


On site parking is available but limited at the M.V. Festival Grounds located at 3374 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, NC 28751.  We strongly encourage you to carpool.  

Should the M.V. Festival Grounds general parking area fill, our parking attendants will direct you to off site parking areas.

VIP Parking is available at the M.V. Festival Grounds.


Early Bird tickets are on sale now through September 30! Get your tickets on Eventbrite. 

VIP Ticket Holders – You must bring your VIP tickets and exchange them for your 2021 wristband.  Be sure to place your 2021 VIP Parking Pass on the drivers side dashboard of your car.

General Admission Ticket Holders –  You must have your 2021 ticket with you.  Tickets will be collected and we will assist you with putting on your 2021 wristband.  No wristbands will be given without a ticket!

What if I Have a Wristband from the Americana Concert?

2020 Americana wristbands and parking passes are NOT valid for the Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival.

What if I Lose My Wristband?

Do NOT lose your wristband – these are not replaceable.  Individuals not wearing a wristband will not be allowed re-entry, no exceptions.  NO WRISTBANDS WILL BE REPLACED.

What to Bring

  • Chairs and/or blankets.  Seating will be provided for VIP ticket holders.
  • Government issued photo id
  • Ticket and parking pass
  • Cash/Card for additional food, beverage, or merchandise
  • Appropriate clothes for forecasted weather
  • Leashed Dogs

What Not to Bring

  • Coolers
  • Illegal drugs
  • Umbrellas
  • Cigarettes/cigars – this is a non-smoking event
